Robot opens the 10th Anniversary Edition of BEGE Expo

The tradeshow highlights on young entrepreneurs’ innovations

The startup companies that will compete in the Gaming StartUp Challenge are already chosen and everyone will be able to meet the teams in the Startup zone, Hall 2 during BEGE Expo. On 23^rd November the companies will have the opportunity to present their projects in front of the audience of manufacturers, operators and experts from the global gaming and entertainment field.

The Gaming StartUp Challenge found wide support among the Bulgarian startup society and will conduct in partnership with Sofia Tech park, Software University (SoftUni), Regus, betahaus, JCI Bulgaria, Wakeup and startup, Game Development Summit and Pixel Media.

Another surprise the team of BEGE Expo has in store is that this year in the Opening Ceremony not all the officials will be… humans. Who is the Sanbot and what does it has to tell you, you can find out on 22 November at the Official Opening of the exhibition.

After the organizers introduce the future innovators of the industry, it’ll be time to go back to the roots of the Bulgarian technological development.

Do you know what the person behind the first electronic computer, the inventor of the Frozen Gasoline System and the Airbag and the one, whose discovery led to the invention of the photocopier, have in common? They are all Bulgarians. These and many interesting facts you can find out this year at BEGE Expo. The exposition “In the world of the Bulgarian discoverers and inventors”, which is kindly supported by the National Polytechnic Museum, will be open for visitors during both days of BEGE Expo.

Hurry up and register now, because the Anniversary edition of BEGE Expo is less than a month away. The number of exhibitors has risen to over 70 and this year, they will be positioned in three halls at Inter Expo Center Sofia – the exhibitors list is available on the website of the event. On the occasion, the organizers will give away to the visitors vacations in some of the best resorts in Bulgaria: Bansko, Pamporovo, Sandanski, Velingrad and Golden Sands.

As every special occasion deserves proper celebration, the 10^th Anniversary of BEGE Expo will gather together for a fabolous birthday party the elite of the gaming industry. The official BEGE Party will be on 22^nd November at a special new location in Sofia, Bulgaria. General Sponsor is Euro Games Technology (EGT) and the Gold Sponsorship is taken by Casino Technology. With 10 successful years behind, BEGE Expo outstands as one of the gaming exhibitions with longest history worldwide. The Anniversary edition of the exhibition will salute the achievements of the past and at the same time will encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in the region with number of initiatives and subsequent events, carried out behind the slogan “Bulgaria – The technology hub of the Balkans!”.
